I am printing slides from an overview course and find it more efficient to take notes on the slides themselves than on a legal pad. This means I punch a large number of pages in small batches and then put them in a binder. Punching is clean, simple and effortless. But I have to look at both ends sticking out of the punch and judge by eye whether the stack is centered or not because there is no paper guide. Basically I'm in. But fair warning: the pages are not completely uniform. It can drive the obsessive-compulsive people completely insane out of you. I, on the other hand, didn't return mine because the perforations are so clean and simple.
