I do like the looks of these curtains, but they were very wrinkled when they arrived. I ordered 4 panels for my bedroom window. The instructions said that they are washable in cold water. I washed 2 of the panels in the washing machine, and they were even more wrinkled when they went through the wash cycle. I put them in the dryer with fabric softener sheets for a few minutes - perhaps 10 minutes at the most. I was so glad that I had only washed 2 of them, instead of all 4 of them. I hung them up to dry overnight. They were still very wrinkled. The ones that I had washed were much more wrinkled than the other ones I had not washed. I spent an hour ironing the curtains. The quality of the curtains is nice, and I think that they will serve the purpose of keeping the cold out in the winter and the heat out in the summer. Also, regarding the "blackout terminology" used in the online description, that is inaccurate. Sunlight is visible through them at certain times of day. That is okay with me, however. They do not have a black backing as do some of the blackout curtain sold online, but I am okay with that. There were notices in the bags in which the curtains arrived which stated that this company donates an unspecified percentage of their earnings to ASPCA, which I do favor. The curtains were a little more expensive than some of the other brands, but I do care about the overall quality. Cheapest is not always best.
