I have this to hold my iPad while flying. I had maybe 10 hours flight time with it. I noticed that sticky residue is lost in some places when sucking on the cup. And he was afraid that he might fall during the flight. I was on a cross country overnight flight and the suction cup started to loosen. Only during the last approach did I notice a slight fall of the iPad. The iPad then continued to drop from the corner of my eye as I got closer and closer to the treadmill. It ended up being a brief finale, and I quickly settled into my seat as I landed the plane. Not sure if I'll stick with this mount and buy new suction cups or switch to a different mount, maybe with two suction cups. That flaw aside, the quality of this mount is really good. Seems to be very durable. Just wondering if the suction cup isn't enough to hold my iPad mini while flying :(
