The material is soft, the feathers don't stick out. Therefore I award two stars. However, this blanket looks so dirty it's a big disappointment! Judging by its color it looks like it has been in use for 20 years and I only took it out of the box yesterday! It's not white. I need to buy or return a duvet cover immediately. I was hoping to use it as is on my bed and didn't need to invest in duvet covers right away. It's not like this. I really wanted to love this article. For years I wanted to get myself a comforter and when I finally did I spent an extra $25 to try and get something better and it looks old and dirty. I don't have a lot of money to spend on new things, so it's incredibly frustrating. It's completely fluffed up so I have no idea how to repackage the item for a return. Just generally very frustrating. 😔 I add photos against white sheets for color comparison.
