My umbrella arrived on time and properly packaged. When I inspected the umbrella, NOTHING was attached. I had to manually attach each small end to each rib and to do this I had to seat the top of the umbrella and press down on its spring so there was enough force to attach the ends. It comes with a wrapped handle. in shrink wrap. When I removed the shrink wrap, it cosmetically damaged the faux leather on the handle. When I put it all together and opened it up, everything works fine and looks great. However, the main shaft was noticeably bent in two places. I didn't put *that much* pressure on it when attaching the ends. The "button" that is pressed to open the umbrella is nothing more than a plastic tab on a metal lever that has to be reset every time I open it. I went to open. That's nice. it works. I intend to keep it. I am very upset with the condition it arrived in.
