I had high hopes for this knee brace when I ordered it, and it certainly seems to be a good quality product. Unfortunately, it seems to be awkward to put on, and I found it difficult to find a good fit.The first issue is that the included instructions are for a completely different style of brace and don't apply to this one.There are two horizontal straps at the top and bottom that stretch and attach with velcro. The problem is that it's hard to keep the brace aligned on the knee while pulling the two ends of the top strap in opposite directions, making sure that the correct strap is overlapping on top of the other, then holding the inner strap while attaching the outer strap with velcro and trying to get a good fit. The bottom strap is a little easier, but the same over-and-under issues exist, along with having to hold the inner strap while wrapping and attaching the outer strap. Also, on the upper straps, the model number/care instruction tags are placed in such as way that when they flop forwards, they cover a good piece of the single velcro fastener.There are also two additional straps that come up in a criss-cross fashion across the brace, both attaching near the top. While this may make the brace a little more snug, I didn't feel any additional support being provided by these two straps.My plan is for my wife to use this brace - I'll be interested in seeing if it's easier for me to put it on her than it was to put it on myself. If so, great, and we'll see how much relief she gets for her knee. I do believe, though, that she would not be successful if she had to put this on herself.Again - it's a nice brace, and others may have no issues putting it on. For those that do have trouble, I can see this being used less and less over time, and it not providing a lot of value to those people.
