Review on πŸ”Œ Bargman 54006-043 Coiled 7-Way Molded Trailer End Connector - 6' in Black by Aaron Ayo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wire code/color code is industry standard

This connector is well designed with a molded plug. This was important to me because I wanted to avoid the ends of the wires coming out of the screw terminals (many connectors don't provide enough internal space for the ends of the spade terminals). Someone may object that the coil is rigid. I would suggest that careful measurements are important. If 6ft is too tight, it likely means a longer cable is needed. As for the concept of "non-standard" color marking of wires; This connector is wired to the RV standard commonly used by the vast majority of trailer equipped cars and trucks. There is another "camper van standard" that applies to larger trucks but is easy to spot because it has an orange wire 🍊. This connector does not have an orange wire. So if you have a car, van, SUV, or pickup truck, this connector will work for you. It does what it's supposed to and is well made. I can't ask for much more.
