Review on Smartphone LG G6 64GB by Wei-Yin Hou ᠌

Has pros: Finally, LG managed to surprise again, like 5 years ago they surprised with their flagship LG G2, it was really the best phone. LG G3, G4 were also not bad, but something was still missing. G5, as for me, is generally a failure. Well, now actually about the handsome G6. In the store I held Samsung S8 and LG G6 in my hands, and it’s impossible to convey emotions, how the G6 feels in the hand, just a monolith, some kind of confidence right away in the phone, which cannot be said about the S8, like a bar of soap in the hand. Yes, and from personal experience and the experience of relatives, Samsung flagships ended after S2 and S3, a lot of marriages, in general, the quality of Samsung is now worse than that of the Chinese, even a brother with A5 2022 changes the battery for the second time in a year, uses the phone carefully. Therefore, I simply did not consider it for purchase, but decided to compare it in my hands, since such an opportunity fell out. I like everything in the G6, a very cool screen, for a phone with a diagonal of 5.7 I can easily use it with one hand, the rear camera is gorgeous, especially interesting pictures come out with a wide-angle. There are no questions about autonomy either, from early morning until late at night I have enough with my head, I don’t need more. The sound is excellent, both in headphones and through the speaker. I checked IP68 right away, swam with it on the lake, took selfies under water, there were no problems. The connection quality is gorgeous, WiFi reception is also killer, in terms of WiFi reception, LG is the best from personal experience. And most importantly, this is a flat screen, on which the protective glass sits perfectly, I hate this 2.5D technology. At least someone came to their senses and removed it. 64 GB of internal storage, 4 GB of RAM, 821 Snapdragon, of course I would like 835, but in fact I don’t play games, 801 would be enough for me for everyday tasks) Cons below: Well, now about the shortcomings, they are not many, but they are. As for a flagship for the money, the selfie camera is simply poor, yes it is wide-angle, this is also its plus, but the quality of the pictures itself leaves much to be desired, indoors and in the evening, during the day the quality is quite good. And moreover, the selfie camera since the G2 in LG is clearly not a strong point. It just haunts that a phone for that kind of money with such a camera was Xiaomi Mi5 before it, so there is a hoo camera in comparison with the G6. The second nitpick is the implementation of two SIM cards . There are simply no words . Why did LG decide that it is convenient to display the touch button on the panel? I just want to call from the dialer or contacts on hold on the contact with the SIM card that I want, but I can’t do it, it’s pure dibilism . After Mi5, use two SIMs, some kind of karma! Another nuance is the network mode of the second SIM card, it is constantly in 3G mode, I can’t put only GSM on the working SIM, even in the engineering menu there is no GSM-only network mode, hence the problems, 3G coverage in the region is far from ideal , and sometimes you talk, then it is reset, then it is not audible . I would like it to be possible to change the network mode on both sims, and not just on the main one. The second nitpick is the software in fact, I really hope that these little things will be finalized, or at least there will be a custom firmware that solves the problem with the sim . Otherwise, the phone is ideal for me!
