When it comes to "brake work" we often change pads and/or calipers and sometimes discs, but we only change those old brake hoses when they're leaking. Maybe it's the old "if it ain't broke don't fix it!" mentality that's keeping us from replacing those old hoses I don't know, but the FACT is that old and/or worn out brake hoses can lead to uneven wear braking and contribute to an overall "soft" pedal feel. When ordering, be sure to specify correct wheel placement; Hoses often vary greatly from left to right or back to front. The Centric brake hoses were well packaged and arrived safe and sound. The finish and materials were OE quality and once installed they fit perfectly with no issues and no leaks. - no signs of ozone depletion or softening of the gum. The brake pedal is still firm without jerking. And of course NO LEAKS! I would buy Centric brake hoses again.
