The picture looks like a metal heater valve - NOT!
I am restoring a 1985 Chevy El Camino and wanted this part to fit a new GM 350 V8 engine. I was attracted by the fact that this is a genuine AC Delco (a subsidiary of GM) part, but unfortunately it was all plastic. The original part that fitted the original 1984 GM 305 V8 engine was made of metal. I felt cheated.
