Love EQ8. I've been working on one of the workbooks to design quilts from very detailed tutorials. I've made over 20 quilts since Christmas. I love that I can take a picture of my fabric and import it into EQ8 so I can see it in block or quilt designs. Some commands are counterintuitive, but working through the book leads to these oddities. I have not checked the fabric requirements (calculations) of my quilt designs, just assumed that even that appears correct. It seemed pretty easy to me, but I've worked on computers for many years, and if you're familiar with PowerPoint or other drawing programs, you'll probably find it easy. If you don't, you could get a little lost.
