I put it up to have a better view of the front of the car when parking in the garage as space is at a premium and I want to close the gate without the to activate the infrared limit switch. So far, so good. It comes with two types of anchor bolts, heavy duty and plastic. The only problem is that it's difficult to remove the entire protective film from the mirror, leaving marks around the edges.
