I've seen several reviews mentioning moisture under the lens. The problem is that the flashlight and the cover/lens don't match. Easy repair before installation: remove the lantern from the cover, apply a thin coat of 4200 to the inner seal, replace the lantern, clamp very lightly and allow to cure for 24 hours. The light is bright and clearly visible from 3 nautical miles. If it lasts 3 years then it's worth the money. Installation was fairly easy, although I had to cut the crossbar to make the lid flush.
