So first let me say that I've bought several Godox products in the past and my personal experience with them is that they arbitrarily control quality like this and no. Unfortunately, this purchase was a failure. I bought this 12" x 51" strip box to take with me on a trip and upon arrival I opened it up to install. About 5-6 shots before our shoot I heard a loud bang and thought my flash bulb had burned out. Upon inspection I only noticed that the side seam (single stitch connection) was completely torn, I assume due to the pressure of the tie rods that hold the shape of this strip box. I am very disappointed and can no longer use it. I hope to get a replacement or refund for this issue when I get home.
