I replaced two Amcrest IP4M-1026E (4MP) cameras with these two 4K cameras. Everything is hardwired. While the 4MP cameras ran perfectly smooth (live) at 15fps on the NVR's HDMI output to a 4K monitor, the 4K cameras lagged/stuttered - not horribly, but intermittently. I'm just watching the clock playing. seconds are behind us. then run to catch up. You get an FPS range of 8 to 23 instead of a constant 15. That's not how it should be. I had to drop the resolution down to 20 fps at 6.2 megapixels, but I didn't buy 8 megapixel cameras to work at 6.2, so I wasn't impressed. Might send them back. I'll try some more troubleshooting, but I know it's not my LAN. I'll try removing some other cameras as I'll be using all 8 channels as is, but this NVR needs to have 80Mbps throughput and I'm nowhere near that. Definitely I will update this review soon.
