I haven't had any buffering issues with this card so far, although I haven't tried running RAW and JPEG at the same time. This is a more expensive card than the regular SD variant, but some cameras only work with a CF card [mine is one]. I prefer smaller memory cards for several reasons. First, I can shoot by subject [e.g. landscape, wedding, house shots, etc.], and second, it doesn't allow me to put all my pictures on one card. I remember using rolls of film in the past and often having a choice of 24 shots versus 36 when I wanted to change the subject and knew I didn't have to take a lot of shots [to be honest with film we all were conservative when shooting]. Anyway, 8GB suits me and my favorite memory card.
