I wanted a doorbell because I figured UPS, USPS, and FED EX would make it easier to press a button to let me know my package arrived is instead of knocking and leaving it there for hours for someone to steal it but no apparently they didn't even bother to ring the doorbell despite there being a clear sign telling them to do so! However, this is not the fault of this wonderful doorbell. The pizza guy and all my guests, even my husband, can't stop ringing the doorbell. The receiver works away from the door. We have this in our bedroom and when you press the bell it definitely rings. I like it! ETA: It's been over a year and the doorbell still works. I didn't have to change the battery or the adhesive backing I used to attach it to the screen door. ETA2: July 1, 2019: I've only had to replace the batteries once so far. The adhesive backing included in the kit still holds tight. The doorbell still works great!
