I don't know why some people are having trouble but maybe I just got lucky. They are great for fast charging the iPad mini 4 and 5 as well as my new iPhone 13 Pro. My 6 year old daughter uses it the most, she's snapped so many cords in a year and it's still holding up. I took him to Disney World with no problems. I'm going to buy these for a friend for Christmas to keep in the car so we'll see what happens.
