Review on 🦷 Sensodyne Whitening Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth - Ideal for Sensitivity Relief by Stephanie Bourque

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Expensive but helps sensitive teeth!

If you have sensitive teeth (think pain when eating ice cream, biting into a hot hamburger or french fries) and otherwise healthy teeth, this will help you a lot. When your gums recede, perhaps from overbrushing or other reasons, then your tooth's dentin is exposed, which means anything hot, cold, or sweet hits those tooth nerves and causes a sharp pain in your mouth. This toothpaste fills "holes" in the dentin where the root is exposed, preventing food from going directly into the nerve and causing stabbing pain. I have been using this toothpaste for many years and it has helped me a lot. Eventually I decided to switch to a different toothpaste and the pain returned. I have not tried any other toothpastes other than this toothpaste which would drastically reduce the pain - almost completely "cured" with regular daily use. This toothpaste can vary widely in price, and different versions of Sensodyne in particular can be more expensive. If you have healthy sensitive teeth I would buy any cheapest version of Sensodyne you can find. Technically, these are the same ingredients no matter what disease they target; They all help with sensitive teeth. The price I got from Revain for 3 packs was the cheapest I could get locally.
