Review on 🚴 Continental Contact Plus Travel Bike Tire: E-Bike Rated, SafetyPlus Puncture Protection for All Terrain Bicycles (26", 28") by Shawn Sims

A great mountain bike upgrade for daily commutes and weekends. After 6,000+ miles, my existing Bontrager trail kit (which worked really well) was completely worn out. I switched to this mainly paved Continental up front with another Nobby Bontrager on the rear to try and get hybrid performance—and it works well for the Trek 4900. My daily commute is on paved roads, through construction sites, dirt trails, sand, small cobblestones , as well as up and down the curbs (an urban area with lots of parks on the way to work). It loses a little for being smoother on the sand than the Deep Gentry (expected), but MORE than makes up for it with faster rolling on tarmac and solid wet traction. Already gone through the steps on all surfaces (road, concrete, cobblestones, dirt road, sand path near the beach, fields) and so far so good. I will update this review if there are performance changes (or early failures) but for now I would recommend them based on performance and would buy again after trying another 5000 miles from this set.
