First impression looks good

Supplied in a large box (not folded like some tyres). Looks good and has replaced the stock Kenda 26 x 1.95 tires so you'll know when something comes up. Hopefully this coupled with the Slime cameras on my BBSHD bike will help with a crash free ride.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Love Love Love for Tires

The perfect tire for my needs at a great price. I use it for city rides on my old mountain bike. The rolling resistance is so low that I never use low gears and high gears are not high enough. I practically stopped riding my bike in Colorado because the goats kept causing drawdowns. Now I can pick them up if these tires are without damage or deflation. Don't count on them bombing loose sand or gravel, well, not if you plan to turn off, but to deal with the occasional hiking trail or open dirt…

Pros
  • Great all round performance
Cons
  • Not bad

Great cyclocross tire

City version shown, not travel version. The Travel has a very smooth mid-profile with semi-circular patterns on the sides. I bought a Travel 700x42 to replace the noisy 700x38 on my cyclocross bike. I was concerned that the 42s would fit snugly in the bottom of the frame, but they are no wider than the 38s I had. They feel a bit bigger and heavier thanks to a thick, flat skid plate and make for a very plush ride (set your bike computer accordingly). Rolling resistance is very low even at 60psi.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Non-automatic

Good tire and tube tires

I needed road/trail hybrid tires for my 29er mountain bike and they fit my budget. A word of warning to anyone running these 28" tires on a 29" rim, they are VERY tight and difficult to get on and off. They fit, but it takes me about 30-40 minutes of maneuvering to get the tire off and back on. These tires also have a directional tread pattern so make sure you get them set right the first time (unlike me). I've only had a few cursory rides in my area so far, but they seem to be a lot faster and

To update! Shop these items for tires and tubes

Ideal for e-bikes. I can corner better than a Ducati at 23mph+. I'm speaking from my own 900s experience. Very confidence inspiring handling. No punctures, more rubber on the road than my previous tires and a more comfortable ride. I bought 26x2.0, the old tires were 26x1.95. Continentals weren't available in 1.95s, but I think they'll be better because I'm 260 pounds and my bike can go 22 mph with the throttle alone. This slightly larger size should do me good. With Contact Plus Travel tires I

Sport Version City Bike Tires

They are slightly heavier than the discontinued Michelin tires they replace. I have them on an early hardtail Cannondale which is my city and trail bike. They roll great and have not flattened out in the relatively short amount of time I've ridden them. Grip is great for hard pack and gravel. The tread is quiet and they run smoothly on asphalt. I went for the 2 inches and they fly like a cloud. The reflective side panel was a must when I shopped and they glow for visibility and I think they…

I received Contact Plus Travel bicycle tires in size 700X37

. I wasn't sure if I would get them. The list is confusing but I'm lucky and I love these tires. I drive on gravel/gravel roads and tarmac. I had street tires that didn't perform well on gravel, but I didn't want to lose the low rolling resistance on tarmac. These tires have a maximum pressure of 85psi in this size. Rolling resistance is very low, but in corners you feel profile and grip just enough to make me feel more confident cornering in gravel and mud. They are expected to have high…

Wet grip, a major upgrade for a commuter and touring mountain bike

A great mountain bike upgrade for daily commutes and weekends. After 6,000+ miles, my existing Bontrager trail kit (which worked really well) was completely worn out. I switched to this mainly paved Continental up front with another Nobby Bontrager on the rear to try and get hybrid performance—and it works well for the Trek 4900. My daily commute is on paved roads, through construction sites, dirt trails, sand, small cobblestones , as well as up and down the curbs (an urban area with lots of…
