Review on ๐Ÿ”ต Frigidaire 154568002 Dishwasher Lower Wash Arm Assembly - High-performance Single Unit in Sleek Grey Design by Corey Bigglesworth

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Right side with updated shape

At first I was wondering if this was the correct part as the sink it was meant to replace was a slightly different shape although the dishwasher model numbers listed for this part match those listed for it Dishwasher models matched part. our car. There are metal clips near each end of the underside of the wash arm which, in the case of the original wash arm, would rub against the heating element at the bottom of the machine, preventing the arm from rotating fully while spraying. I suspect this caused the underside of the previous wash sleeve to melt heavily, as upon inspection it was apparent that the metal clips were transferring intense heat to the plastic and virtually destroying the plastic underside of the wash sleeve near and around it . clips. So before installing the new wash arm, I placed my thumb lightly on the strips where they naturally curve slightly and increased the arc of these curved areas until they cleared the heating elements and allowed the wash arm to freely rotate 360 degrees without interference turn . . . Thrust. This seems to have solved the flushing problems. I also removed, cleaned and reinstalled the strainer and strainer which fixed an issue where the machine was unable to properly clean a regular load of prewashed dishes. Everything is back to normal with our Frigidaire dishwasher. I would have given this part 5 stars if it wasn't for the metal clip issue. Otherwise it works fine.
