Another tip I found helpful, don't drive like you're going to poke a hole in a pine tree, rather move more or less slowly and try to stay at a certain depth so the dirt gets pulled out instead only to sink into the ground. it also helps if you keep plugging and unplugging it while the drill is running so you can get the dirt out quicker. Eventually, if you're careful and patient, you can dig nearly 2 feet deep for anything you want to plant in under 30 seconds. If your soil is too rocky, you may get different results, so be careful.
