. They are very pleasant to the touch and do not damage gums, but do not properly clean teeth. When I came in for a check-up last week, my hygienist told me I wasn't brushing my teeth well enough. She said my gums were inflamed and tartar had built up at the gumline. I told her about toothbrushes and she said they didn't work. They don't remove all plaque from your teeth, they don't clean the gum line properly, and they don't stimulate the gums. I have found that my gums sometimes get sore and bleed after a few months of use. The bristles are too soft to remove all of the teeth. Although they are very comfortable to use, you will get deposits after a while. Lesson learned. Just use a regular toothbrush.
