They were the perfect replacement for the Schrader valve on my Chevy AC truck. I had to bend the U shaped part that sticks to the schrader valve. I just used a small hammer to slightly bend the sides. Use your new Schrader valve to figure out how much to bend the sides. If you don't catch the Schrader valve the first time, just set the "trap" and try again. Nothing wrong with that. This setting is quite tedious, but for one-time use it is significantly cheaper than buying an expensive set or taking it to the workshop.
