The design of the shoe has changed from the 812 model. There is now a seam that runs across the toe causing chafing and blistering. Shoes are made cheaper, especially in the area where valves need to be tightened. The one piece used to be part of the shoe, now it's a plastic piece that probably won't last long. I am extremely disappointed. I didn't have a packing list with return instructions so I just kept the shoes. I will not order this style again. It doesn't help that it's no longer made in the USA. I have found that this affects the fit and quality.
