Worked well. The magnets were strong. There are several videos on youtube showing different methods of using this jig if you need help. I preferred to use a different method than shown in the instructions. The only thing to watch out for is that those little magnets on the bottom are so strong that they will stick to your planing table if you try to take it off, so it's better to remove it from the table. Since a pair of these magnets had come out of their sockets, I found it necessary to press down on the front end of the jig when tightening the knives. I used a dial indicator to check that the blades were flush with the output table.
