Review on Samsung Genuine DA29-00003G Refrigerator Water Filter - Reliable 1 Pack (Packaging may vary) by Christopher Todd

I have had a Samsung fridge for 8 years now and use the same filter every time. Before ordering this time I looked at the reviews and was confused that so many people said it had changed and didn't fit. I ordered anyway. You were correct, I uninstalled the old one and tried installing the new one. He didn't turn around. I looked at the ridges, but straight ahead, and didn't think they looked any different. I returned it to Revain and took my old one to Loews (where I bought my fridge) so they could find me the right one. The guy said "Samsung only makes one, that's all." Taken home by Lowes, tried to install, same problem. So this time I took a close look at the combs next to the old one and noticed that the old one had the right side of the comb cut at an angle at the bottom, but the new one didn't. I pulled the knife out and started shaving until it stuck in and twisted. GOD! 50 dollars. for the filter I have to change to work! Thanks for your input @Gary Edwards!
