Review on Enhance Braking Performance with Power Stop S2984 Red Powder-Coated Performance Caliper by Ben Dixon

Make no mistake, these are stock red powder coated calipers. My coverage seems good. The internal parts can be made of better quality materials, I don't know. What I do know is that one of the calipers did not have the brake line threaded properly. I didn't want to ride a crane and risk metal shavings getting into the brake fluid, so I pressed the flare against the seat and pushed the nut in. the first two or three don't match the rest. If you drive a 4Runner, Tacoma, GLX, or FJ Cruiser, you'll need Toyota part number 4731435320. Even if you can loosen the nut on that little S-shaped hardline, they're likely to break . The tubes on mine were rusted down to the nut and fell apart when I took them off. Overall I like the product and combined with the EBC kit which comes with green pads and slotted and knobbed rotors it has greatly improved braking performance. One star off for bad stuff. Minus the stars for ease of installation for the same and for the fact that the springs poke holes in the bag and scatter tiny pins/splints around the box. These tiny pens should be in their own pocket.
