As a novice carpenter, I quickly found it necessary to have lots of clamps in different shapes and sizes. I never have enough clips! I saw this clip on sale and thought it looked nice so I bought it on a whim. Fast forward a few months and I'm making a 2x4 end table and I have to tie the job to my makeshift workbench. That was the closest thing to me, so I grabbed it and locked my stuff tightly. The double jaws and trapezoidal screws gave me a good grip at an odd angle. And that was a pretty tight grip. I was interfering with the work with a large drill and this prevented the table from moving. I will be buying another one so I have a pair (as it should have been from the start).
