Review on ThermoPro TP-16: Large LCD Digital Cooking Thermometer for Oven, 🍖 BBQ Grill & More - Stainless Steel Probe, Timer & Clock Included by Mohammad Pesqueira

Bought two but the original now has a problem with the probe, it doesn't work. It displays the room temperature as 280 degrees Fahrenheit. The device still works, but the sensor failed after just one use. Did I pinch the wire in the smoker lid when using it? I don't know, but it's possible. So I have to downgrade the star to 4 stars. And for that I need to find a probe. Edit: After I emailed the manufacturer, they sent me a new replacement probe without question. Big! But this time my second probe failed! I mean each of the first two probes only worked once before they failed and became unusable. So now out of the three probes, two are broken and presumably one will work the second time I use it, although history tells me it won't work the second time since neither of the other two probes worked the second time. The fact is that the manufacturer sent me a new probe free of charge and without any questions. but. The bottom line is that the probe is cheaply made and doesn't last long. Therefore, the device as a whole is not worth its money. I'm giving this two stars instead of one because of the probe's warranty. Edit 6/28/2018: I had two and just threw them both in the bin. They turn on fine, but the temperature dropped 25 degrees, and yes I'm sure it was the F setting. Even the new probe didn't work properly. I'm sorry but these are the worst digital thermometers I've ever owned. I am taking that down to one star.
