WARNING NO INSTRUCTIONS

I'm trying to think of one thing I love about this Dymo. I assume it uses the same tape as the DYMO 2100 I've had for years and has finally picked up the dust. The really bad thing about this product for me is the lack of instructions. The only instructions were how to put the batteries in, how to turn it on and how to cut the tape. But also the picture shown for cutting the tape was not on the machine. There are no instructions on how to print characters other than letters and numbers. And even writing in capital letters is not clear how. It was trial and error until I figured it out. I still haven't cracked the code on how to print characters like #$%/?'_. Another challenge was figuring out how to remove the backing from the adhesive. This isn't one of their best products. I bought this to mark boxes in my workshop and it worked fine, but it was a lot of work! "Easy to use," her words. I doubt it! I would return it but it's more trouble than it's worth. So I suck on it and hold it tight. Addendum: I downloaded the instructions, which were never mentioned in the packaging information, which were download instructions, and figured out most of it. The device I received does not match the picture on Revain. I think my old model. Still wouldn't buy it again. I don't like that I didn't get what was pictured!
