A little big and chunky but great for static free detangling

My wife has long, thick, beautiful hair. She has used a plastic comb for many years, but in our dry climate she has a problem with static electricity. Any plastic or nylon brush or comb will charge the hair and make it difficult to style. Her last comb had little balls at the ends of the stiff bristles that had broken off, the tips scratching her head. She wants to be eco-responsible, so the thought of constantly buying brushes that end up in landfill was a little unsettling. This brush is great! The bamboo bristles are carefully rounded, mounted on a flexible rubber dome and perfectly spaced to detangle your hair firmly yet gently. The natural material doesn't electrify her wavy locks, making them much easier to style. And there is nothing scratchy that could damage your scalp. The brush is hard and durable so will likely last longer than cheap plastic. If she gets rid of it, the natural material will biodegrade for decades instead of releasing chemicals into the soil. Bamboo is a renewable plant and therefore also environmentally friendly. The only thing she didn't like was how big and bulky the brush body is. Your fingers are short, so the wider handle is difficult to grip and the larger head is more difficult to store. I would give it five stars if the design was slimmer and more compact. However, the price is great. Nowadays, many bamboo products are expensive. However, this dandy goes for under $7 (pun intended) for "hair". Apart from that, my wife can have one of her own, buy one for our daughter and use them as souvenirs at parties or stockings for friends and family.
