Bought this for my boiler room where I have a stove, gas dryer and hot water tank. A smoke alarm is important, but I believe a carbon monoxide alarm is just as important, if not more important, as it can be a silent killer that you shouldn't ignore. WHAT I LOVE: [+] This is a 2-in-1 smoke and carbon monoxide alarm. [+] Batteries included last 10 years![+] Can be placed anywhere as no outlet is required.[+] Comes with a mounting bracket and screws[+] The device activates when mounted on a bracket and features about places to record the install date[+] Loud beeps and an alarm tone you can't ignore[+] Digital display and battery level indicator[+ ] Excellent, the price is for something that will protect you for 10 years. WHAT I DON'T WANT:[-] It would be great if it could also detect a gas leak :) SUMMARY: 5 stars out of 5. I highly recommend this for a boiler room or kitchen where the likelihood of smoke and/or carbon monoxide emissions is greatest. This should give you 10 years of peace of mind.
