Original review: This provided exactly the flow rate my fountain needed. Also, the wattage was low enough not to drain my solar panel and lipo batteries too much. A 20W Eco Worthy solar panel is around $28 and an Anself solar controller is around $15. There is a watt reserve versus watts consumed to ensure reliable flow with reserve power. This fountain came with a 115 VAC pump and worked perfectly. So why use solar energy? The fountain was moved to the other end of the walkway, which seemed like the perfect solution to me as I didn't want to break up the concrete or run electricity to the new location. Not having to work at night is not a problem. With the Anself controller I can set a lower battery voltage limit. This keeps my lipo at minimum capacity without fear of battery drain from over-discharging.
