I was looking for a darling to replace the elephant my 19 month old son sleeps on like a pillow or cuddles all night. I bought two because I also have a 4 year old who loves stuffed animals in general and I wanted to avoid sibling rivalry. They love their crocodiles/alligators and have both named them Sally. The elephant hasn't been replaced but has a new, furrier, less worn companion that I think my son will love almost as much. They are a good size, not too big but perfect for toddlers to carry around and use as body pillows. They are velvety and plush on the outside. They are not stuffed. They would make a great gift and were less expensive compared to other ani effigy I've reviewed.
