So far it's working great and I don't see any problems. This item was easy to install from the perspective of someone who knows at least a little about the DIY technique. To sum it up, for a wired device that requires you to run cables up and down your car, it really couldn't be easier. Removing the tail light and installing the product is very easy. Routing the cable from the rear of the car to the front is a bit trickier. I found a video online detailing the installation of this particular kit and used it to help me route the cable forward (as there are guidelines on where to securely fasten the cable - the keys to this are knowing away from bruises, cuts and friction and heat can be an issue). The entire installation took about an hour and a half, which I think isn't too bad for the layman.
