Pallet tub was easy too install and the price was really good compared to big brands. It's a little bulky and obviously hangs about 1 inch below the fuel tank. The design is good but you can tell which side of the forward and reverse. I installed this on a 2004 Ford F-250 and decided to modify the fuel tank skid plate to retain the protection (see photo). Take the time to cut the hole with the included hole saw (I used a wire brush for the inside of the pan.) For added leak protection I used Tef pubic tape on two screws and the bottom pieces together. When I first put everything together, I filled the tank with just a few gallons of fuel to check for leaks. Yes, about every minute a drop would leak out of the teflon threaded fittings onto the brass threaded fittings. So I drained the fuel and removed them. The second time was successful, I wrapped the threads in Teflon, put a thin O-ring on the fittings, then cleaned the pan threads well and lightly applied Permatex (sealant) BLACK OIL RESISTANT RTV inside and on the brass threads. After the hardware was tightened, I stuffed the RTV over all the hardware and let it sit for a few hours before adding fuel. No more leaks! I think chamfering to fit the o-ring will solve the problem, but a flat rubber or teflon washer would probably work as well.
