Installation was VERY easy - really plug and play (under the seat). Programming was easy, but I suggest putting the bike on a stand as you have to change gears to program it (a little safer than while riding). Works perfectly! I know a lot of people will say they don't need it because they can "hear" the transmission by listening to the engine and speed, but sometimes it's nice to just be able to look down and see , which aisle you are in. in. It stuck well to my speedometer with the included double-sided tape (precut for side and rear mounts). Note: when you are in neutral or depressing the clutch you only see the line. I took a picture as I turned the bike on to freeze the displayed gear (it "paints" the time when the bike first turns on).
