Everything about this blanket is good - except for the weight! This detail added to the comfort (and safety) of using this blanket. Maybe 15 pounds is fine for some, but I'm a strength athlete and yet I just find this blanket very bulky, quite heavy. Every time I need to adjust or move it, I feel it in my arms, shoulders, and back and NOT in a "good" way. In fact, you almost need to get in a gym workout before attempting to lift and manipulate this blanket. I'm talking about the ability to pull a muscle. I'm always very careful when moving it, even in bed when trying to sleep! A 5 to 10 pound blanket will probably work best for most women. What an unpleasant surprise!
