2 ordered. The other may pose a fire hazard and could damage your computer. The computer did not start at all. After extensive troubleshooting, these were the RGB fans. The bad one doesn't work at all, swapped the titles/location for the working one. That does not work. Tried RGB address extension. Doesn't work in the same setup as the one that works. Even more fun, when I plug in the broken one, I see a noticeable electrical spark when plugged in. There is a short in the RGB connection. The connector appears to be made using the same process as Molex's Fire-to-Sata adapters, which are notorious for burning computers. Tiny pins and wires mixed with cheap injection molding create shorts. Luckily, the worst thing that happens to my motherboard is that it refuses to even try to boot and goes into short circuit protection mode. Other motherboards may not have these features and therefore by shorting out you could blow up your motherboard, overheat the connector or cause a small fire. You don't know when or if you'll short out due to wear/aging/electromigration. If you're unsure whether your motherboard can safely handle a short in the RGB lines, don't buy.
