I'm a fan of ring-lit RGB fans. they are off because RGB suppresses the arrangement instead of accentuating it. They're well made, the RGB looks good if a bit dark and a bit flickering. I wish Antec had a proper control box with a USB port, but I understand the design and software costs will increase significantly. The light shines beautifully from both sides, so don't worry about using fans as air intakes. These are BIG cooling fans, whether liquid or air. I have them on my Enermax Liqfusion…

Beautiful and great performance

I ordered 5+C and 3 fans + 2 strips. It was really messy at first with all the cords and plugs you can see in the pictures. Once I installed everything, I ran into an issue that was causing RGB flickering. I immediately contacted Antec support and they helped me to solve this problem. So I have to say that setting up the controller is a bit tricky as these are high performance fans that draw more power than regular RGB or ARGB fans. I also have a lot of ARGB, in my case 3 additional fans in the

But you look fantastic.

I bought 5 packs of 120 and 2 packs of 140. I like the included hub as it doesn't use a proprietary connector, just a PWM fan connector, and the ARGB connector is all you need to connect another fan. The hub is powered via SATA and I liked that. The ARGB rings look amazing and to date I am more than happy with the lighting they provide. Unfortunately, after almost a year and a half of normal use, the 140s sound like the bearings have failed. The 120's are actually fine, only 1 out of 5 hums…

Noise on the outlet side of the fan.

These fans generate noise on the exhaust side. I used 3 ARGB fans because they use the same headers as my current Cyberpower fans. They have 2 connectors, 4 pin PWM and 3 pin ARGB. When testing the fan, I hear a click, which I think is in the bearings. All 5 fans have been tested and all make this noise. It's worst at low and high speeds, so I run them at around 60%. I installed 3 of these as exhausts on top of the case so you can hear them click slightly as you turn them. If you flip it to…

24 LEDs is technically accurate, but with one caveat.

The fans are pretty quiet and drive enough air into my rather open case. I have no complaints about these fans doing their main job. What would have been helpful to know about these fans before I bought them was the LED configuration. Instead of a data line for the inner (fan hub) ring made of 6 LEDs lined up first and then chained to the outer ring. They are connected in parallel. So when you connect them to an ARGB controller to program custom lighting effects, you can't isolate the hub from…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Volume

. The fans themselves are ULTRA quiet and fully HTPC compatible if that's what you're looking for - even if your case has all 5 fans like mine. That's what calm is. The few issues I have with this product are probably minimal but worth noting. RGB connections are weak as others have said, I totally agree with them. Mine didn't come off, but they don't leave a "yes, that's good" feeling. Second, the controller buttons are a bit flimsy - the mode button works well, but the speed button feels like

Can't say I recommend them unless you want to kill your computer

2 ordered. The other may pose a fire hazard and could damage your computer. The computer did not start at all. After extensive troubleshooting, these were the RGB fans. The bad one doesn't work at all, swapped the titles/location for the working one. That does not work. Tried RGB address extension. Doesn't work in the same setup as the one that works. Even more fun, when I plug in the broken one, I see a noticeable electrical spark when plugged in. There is a short in the RGB connection. The…

The best value for money at the moment! Finding the right fans can be difficult during this time. This prompted me to look for an alternative. The Antec Prizm fans were exactly what I was looking for but at a fraction of the price. Build is solid, colors are vibrant and controls work as advertised with a cable to connect to the motherboard. Be sure to hold down the "Mode" button to connect the controller to the motherboard. I see some other reviews misleading others. 1.) No, 140mm fans are NOT…

Definitely recommended

Bought an Anted Prizm 120 ARGB 5 fan assembly with a controller module. This kit is compatible with many manufacturers of LED controller/programming standards. In my case I am using an ASUS mobo which uses the "Aura" environment. Fans/LEDs The fans in my case were easy and straightforward to install. The LED rings are vibrant and the colors match other non-Antec components in my system, from the LED RAM modules to the onboard lighting on the motherboard itself. You'll be happy with how they…
