I just bought a (new to me) F-250 and immediately ordered these seat covers. One reason is that the interior of the truck is mostly black and dark gray. Calculate how it performs in the heat of the Texas summer and you'll see that it's better to go with a lighter color (there were very few non-black options for seat covers). Of course I also wanted to protect my cloth seats from the hay, sweat and dirt that I so often soil my cars with. Finally, yes, vanity was part of it - I love the look and cleanliness of leather seats, so I went for leatherette upholstery. Cons: 1) Complaints that these covers "do not let air through" are very true. But isn't that the trade-off you get for being water and oil resistant? 2) The two seat cushions are NOT connected at the base of the backrest. I was a bit disappointed as I wanted more thorough coverage. 3) If your seats don't have a clear cut between the backrest and the bottom of the seat, this cover will be very difficult to install as the washers have to go through. I got them working, but it took me about an hour to get the disks in as far as possible. 4) The biggest disappointment was the headrest covers. The elastic band is not adjustable AT ALL, although with the clips that attached it it would be very simple and easy to do. I had to sew on the elastic myself and the covers were STILL too loose and falling off the sides. I have to ask my mother to sew them on a little longer, which is inconvenient. Pros: 1) These seat covers are GREAT - they turned my typical 2019 base model F-250 into a comfortable ride. 2) If you have split seats these covers are VERY easy to fit. Even if you don't have these seats, you can easily find out, you just have to work a little on your elbows. 3) They SEEM long-lived - I'll be updating this part in 6 months to see if they survive a HOT summer in Texas, a rainy fall and a trip to a horse show that puts anything and everything through the ring. 4) They are truly waterproof. I had no idea my soft shell cooler was leaking and sat in the driver's seat for 2 hours. All I had to do was wipe the water off and I was good to go - no stains, no residual moisture and a perfectly comfortable ride home. Recent comments: These cases have a slight plastic/chemical smell. I don't mind, but if it does, let them air out for a few days before installing. Again, note that these covers DO NOT cover the gap between the backrest and seat cushion - if you want 100% coverage, look elsewhere.
