After ordering my plain foil Mk3s+ I realized that PETG, which I mainly wanted to print for the first few weeks, was better done on textured foil and that additional factory foils would be supplied in a few weeks. One quick look and it was quickly on my driveway. It works great with PETG and even larger PLA parts as well as some ABS parts where warping is unlikely. While the smaller PLA and more complex ABS perform best on a smooth slab. But it was so good for PETG that I didn't switch to the factory textured plate even after it arrived. As others have said it's thinner and you should definitely set it up with its own profile and live z calibration. But because it's thinner it's easier to flex to remove detail. In fact, they sometimes come loose simply by taking the sheet out of the printer. So, after a month, about 12 hours of use a day, almost everything is on this sheet, and so far it looks and acts like new.
