Both the plug and connector have three quick ratcheting screws instead of two which hold the parts together once the process is complete. Both male and female parts have wire gauges. Both male and female connectors have color coded studs for ease of wiring. The wiring screw has a clip to tighten the bare wire, not just the screw. All screws and bolts can be used with either flat or Phillips screwdrivers. All screws and bolts can be easily removed before beginning the connection process, and the screws and bolts are designed not to fall out if over-extracted. The final finished connector can easily be made semi-hermetic by wrapping it with electrical tape.
