We got this for our 4ft x 5ft shower stall after knee replacement surgery to be able to sit in the shower, put my legs up to wash/shave my feet/legs etc. But works in everyone Environment good It stands best on level ground. In the shower stall, the floor slopes down towards the drain and is uneven, so it wobbles a bit when standing alone; However, under the weight of a foot placed or seated on it, the aluminum legs settle in such a way that they even make contact with any rubber foot. Our only concern is that it 'looks' very clinical in our tiled shower stall (a white plastic seat with aluminum legs and blue rubber feet), but it served the purpose and we can later replace it with a teak seat. or not.
