It's not cheap and difficult, but this dowel attachment is as cool as you could ask for. what excited me the most. It feels strong, it seems solid, and it feels like it could do some real work. However, this is a tricky setup and the box will only fit in when broken. That means if you've already made a cheap dowel clip, save it. You'll still use it if you don't want to break everything. If you have a lot of bobby pins, this thing is time to shine. Like the Craig Jig, it's ridiculously easy to repeat once you get it right the first time. So far I haven't had any problems. A case that doesn't hold the assembled tool is REALLY annoying and will prevent you from using that tool every time you need to drill dowels.
