Excellent as a video doorbell. As for motion detection, it's useless. I have to be right in front of him to get my mail from the mailbox and he never activates the sensor! However, the stupid thing gets active on the car across the street that drives past the house. I got to the video doorbell and also caught people stealing packages that were delivered to my entrance. If all I wanted was a video doorbell, this is the one I would buy. Very disappointed that it is advertised as a motion detector when in reality it is not. Is there a way to change the motion detector property to make it work I would like to know. Otherwise it will return.
