I used to have a "Pitbull" razor or whatever it's called. It started crashing out of nowhere a few days after the warranty expired and they didn't show me any goodwill gesture despite the fact that the crashing behavior was so strange and the timing was so close to the end of the warranty. So I have vowed not to buy from this brand again and have concluded that they do not have much confidence in their product and do not value their customers' experience. This device works just as well as a pit bull razor. That's pretty good, but not nearly as close to a shave as a real razor. I use this to shave my head and the results are about 36 hours after shaving with a razor. Therefore, it looks smooth but feels a bit scratchy. But there's virtually no irritation, so you can use it daily if you want, unlike a razor that you might need to use for a set period of time (say, between 3 and 7 days after your last shave) in order to to avoid irritation. .But temper your expectations. This thing is *not* as fast as a real razor in the right hands. It probably takes me about 1.5 times longer to get an even shave with this device than with a razor. But I never leave blood on the towel, so we make concessions here.
