This fan is classified as an industrial fan, so it's built like a tank. Moves the air like crazy. The assembly isn't even bad. I would give 5 stars if it wasn't so noisy. Even on low settings you can really hear it. We mainly use it in the hallway below to blow cool air up (you can tilt the fan so it's pointing straight up) - it does a great job even on a low setting - and the noise kind of goes away. in hindsight after a while (white noise I think). When you crank it to maximum power, it sounds like the B-52 is preparing for takeoff and you can feel it vibrating on the ground. If you point it at something loose, it will be blown away by the fan. But he moves the air like a champion. Get this if you want a powerful fan that moves a lot of air and doesn't mind a little noise. If you dream about a very quiet fan, it will not make you happy. It's highly adjustable, you can rotate the fan to any position on the stand, and it bolts to the sides to keep it in place. We also have other ways to use it. Put it outside on the patio for a cool breeze on a hot day (it's great for that), point it towards an open window to let the air out of the room, and give you a plan. B If your AC cuts out - if it's very hot and you don't have AC, you won't be bothered by the noise. Another plus for me is that it's made in the USA.
